Lazy, sun-filled days were just what I needed after a whirlwind weekend in London. How kind of the weather to oblige.
We’ve done everything you’re meant to do when the sky is bright blue and the sun is shining.
There’s been water play in the front garden, fresh homemade smoothies after school, biscuits baking with all the windows and doors wide open so the sunlight can stream in, hours spent in the park blowing dandelion clocks and making daisy chains, breaking in new sandals, enjoying picnics in the garden, wearing a favourite summer dress, eating ice-cream and inhaling the familiar scent of suncream.
Bliss.
What have you been up to in the sunshine?

PS. Jesse has proved just how little children need in the way of toys this past week, happily switching between an empty cardboard box and the old nappy bucket filled with water. He’s been as happy as a pig in mud! Watching him in the garden reminded me of this. My, how my baby’s grown!

I don’t think there is much better in life than watching children frolic freely outdoors…especially in cute trunks 🙂 Lovely post, and love the new sandals xxx
