Every now and then I find myself browsing the William Sonoma website. For a raging kitchenaphile like myself this is tantamount to torture because this dreamy store refuse to ship internationally. Cheeky buggers.

Nonetheless, I allowed myself to follow the link in S.B.V’s post about the amazing message-in-a-cookie cutters. Cute as they are, I spied something far more exciting on the website and immediately posted a link on Facebook, lamenting the fact I’d never have the pleasure of baking with said product.

Well, I have a very wonderful friend who leads a fabulously glamorous, jet-set lifestyle as a member of Virgin cabin crew. Unbeknown to me she purchased the item I’d been drooling over, along with something else she spied and knew I’d adore, bought them back to blighty and mailed them to me.

I actually let out an audible squeal when I ripped open the brown paper packages this afternoon and found these…

In a galaxy far, far away… I’ll be baking the coolest cookies and cupcakes in the UNIVERSE! I literally cannot wait to serve up my first Yoda!

I might save the cupcake kit for our wedding cake buffet, they’d go perfectly with the wedding cake topper I’ve just ordered from Etsy (which I shall of course reveal upon its arrival)! Geeky, us?

In all seriousness, I told Mr. LA a Star Wars wedding was out of the question, but for these I’ll make an exception!
