Another day, another wedding related sale purchase.
I managed to nab 3 of these very sparkly necklaces at the weekend, one for each of my grown-up (a term I use loosely) bridesmaids. I bought them from a wonderful little boutique in Exeter called Inside Out, part of the retail chain belonging to Devon based company Gottahaveit. This shop is my idea of heaven, it’s full of beautiful jewellery, home wares and gifts. I rarely manage to pay them a visit without making a purchase! The staff are incredibly friendly too, they actually had one of the necklaces sent over from another branch and still sold all 3 of them to me at the reduced price, even though the sale had officially ended by the time it arrived!
The necklaces are made by BOHM Jewellery and, with a name like ‘Old Hollywood’, the design just seemed to fit perfectly with our wedding. The 50% markdown from £55 to £27.50 happens to fit perfectly with our budget too!
The grey and pewter shades of the crystal mirror the colour of the girl’s dresses beautifully and works really well alongside the subtle sparkle in their pashminas. I love the mix of vintage glamour and quirky, contemporary styling, I can’t wait to see the girls in them!
I’ve opted for some simple studs from Pilgrim to compliment the statement necklaces. I’m hoping that with their hair tied back, understated earrings and the simple neckline of their dresses the bold necklaces will look fabulous!

I love them! So much so that it’s actually made me think about the possibility of buying necklaces for my bridesmaids. I’ve decided I’m going to ask them all to buy themselves a fabulous navy blue dress of their choice in lieu of any wedding present so to pull them all together a necklace would be an idea? Hmmmm.

@Emma Ooooo! Navy dresses sound lovely. I adore mismatched dresses and I think necklaces sound like an excellent idea for pulling them all together. My sister will have a differnt dress to the other 2 bridesmaids but their necklaces will all match. I’ve also asked them to buy their own shoes in silver/pewter too.
