Going Up…
- It’s Friday. Finally.
- Lush’s LE ‘It’s Raining Men’ shower gel. Oh. My. God. If heaven was a shower gel, this would be it for me. Lathers beautifully, smells sweet but not sickly (at least not to my nose) and leaves my skin beautifully soft.
- Hottie massage bar. Another current Lush obsession. I’m totally addicted to the warm yet floral scent, it’s very unique and I’ve even gone without perfume for the last couple of days because of it.
- Having a productive morning.
- The days are definitely getting longer. This has such a massive effect on my motivation and positivity, roll on summer I say.
- Jamie Oliver’s 30 minute meals cookbook, especially the cauliflower macaroni recipe that I’ve already cooked twice. Really yummy and incredibly easy.
- Wedding related packages arriving left, right and centre. I am now the proud owner of 7 charcoal grey ties, 3 pashminas, 100 manila envelopes and 100 Save The Date cards.
- My slow cooker. I’m in love, how did I ever manage without it?
- Did I mention that it’s Friday?
Going Down…
- Customs charges.
- Mr. LA’s stubbornness in relation to his health. Antibiotics haven’t cleared his chest and he’s still coughing like a man twice his age but apparently work is more important than a trip to the doctors.
- Being totally disorganised about Isabel’s birthday next weekend.
- Talk of dissertations.
- Spots.
- Feeling tired.
- Looking tired.
- The fact that we’re only a few days into the new university term and the work is already piling up.
- The rate at which my fringe grows.
- Loosing my glasses.

I so commiserate about men and their health, I’ve been trying to convince Mr to go to the doctor for at least 2 months now with no result. Frustrating! x
Ooh wedding parcels are exciting.
Oh, Jamie Oliver. Cauliflower macaroni sounds rather good! I’m sorry about everything on the bad list – I hope you’re able to have a nice weekend, lovely!
My husband is very stubborn about going to the doctors too. He told me last week that he’s getting pins and needles in his arms a lot (errr WORRY) but is also too busy at work to get checked. Men, I ask you.
Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals book has some gorgeous recipes in it. We’re loving it too.
