Going Up…
- Taking the plunge and placing an online order for the Bobbi Brown corrector and creamy concealer kit. *crosses fingers that I’ve chosen the right shades*
- Revlon Matte e/s in Vintage Lace. It’s just a plain old matte ivory shadow but I love it. I have used this everyday since I purchased it and it has a fabulous buttery texture. It makes a fantastic all over lid colour when I want to wear simple winged eye-liner and also works well as a highlight when I want to use mainly shimmery shadows everywhere else.
- LUSH Christmas Eve bubble bar. I had another one in the bath tonight and it’s so yummy. For me, it’s the stand out product from this years LE Christmas range.
- The prospect of Halloween baking with my daughter. I have the cookie cutters, icing pens and plenty of garish food colouring. Nigella eat your heart out.
Going Down…
- How badly my hair needs colouring and cutting.
- Having a sore throat. I had better not be getting ill again. I will not be pleased.
- The baby still waking in the night… although last night was a lot better and he fed well today so maybe I’ll feel more rested tomorrow.
- The half-term effect. It never occurred to me as a child filled with excitement at the prospect of school holidays that my mother might be dreading them equally as much. I’m exhausted and rapidly running out of exciting activities to fill the days! Cinema tomorrow me thinks.

I’ve heard wonderful things about the BB concealer. I’m just umming and aahing over getting one of her foundations – you ever used any of them?
Halloween baking sounds like fun….photos please!
I’ve never tried her foundation but I would def be tempted if I had a counter near me at which I could get colour matched. I haven’t been dissapointed by anything I’ve tried from BB. I tend to think of the brand as being a bit like GAP for make-up… it’s great for the basics and then you go get the fun, frivolous stuff elsewhere!
I will almost certainly post some pictures of our Halloween celebrations!
