Going Up…
- Feeling fairly full of sunshine despite the rain and sleep deprivation.
- Giving the boy his first taste of solid food!! He had some baby rice yesterday and carrot today and seemed fairly taken with both. Apple puree tomorrow.
- Green Tea. Been drinking gallons of the stuff recently.
- Getting the blender out and making homemade baby food. I did this for my daughter as well and it brings back fond memories. I’m quite strict with the amount of processed food I eat myself so it makes sense that I’d do the same for my kiddlywinks. In the end my little girl found food from jars just too bland in comparison to the stuff I made myself. Luckily I enjoy preparing it… probably wouldn’t bother otherwise!
- Bobbi Brown creamy concealer. They aren’t kidding when they say creamy… it’s so blendable and easy to work with. Paired with her corrector it seems to be doing a good job of hiding my dark circles, meaning I look less like a zombie.
- The ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ tree decorations I picked up from the Disney Store this evening. Pumpkin Jack will be adorning the branches of our Christmas tree this year! We’re going for a kinda gothic look I think, black and silver and maybe a flash of red, much to my daughter’s delight.
Going Down…
- Worrying about my baby sister. She’s having a tough time at the moment.
- Spending loads of money but still having a trillion Xmas presents to buy.
- Not having a clue how I’m going to accessorise my outfit for my son’s Naming Ceremony which is in a couple of weeks.
- Mess, mess, mess. I’d forgotten how mucky weaning a baby is!
