Going Up…

• The Boots Advantage Card event. I just spent too much money but I got a few more Xmas presents sorted and then had over £50 worth of points to spend. I blew it all on Lancome goodies. The SA was kind enough to throw in loads of samples too.
• Finally getting my hands on the Sleek Storm palette. You know what? Those bloggers weren’t lying when they said these eye-shadows are pigmented. I can’t believe these retail at under £5. They’re amazing and I cannot wait to have a proper play with them.
• The boy (who has been plagued by teething problems recently) actually slept through last night. I felt like a new woman this morning.
• Chanel Trapeze nail polish from the holiday collection. I’ve seen this described as a ‘dirtied silver’ but when I applied it my first thought was MAC’s Vex e/s when its duochrome is flashing more pinky. I love it! Super glad I picked this up.

Going Down…

• There is little over a week to go until my son’s naming ceremony and the stress is starting to kick in! I’ll be spending most of next week cleaning the house in anticipation. My Grandmother will be attending so I’ll have to clean everywhere, even the places you can’t see.
• Dry Skin. It has to be the worst thing about this time of year.
• The fact there are still more Christmas presents to buy.
