Going Up…
- My daughter’s nativity. She was an angel. Too cute.
- KarlaSugar’s Love Lace swatches. MAC collections have been leaving me decidedly cold of late but I like the look of the eye shadows from this launch (I adore cool colours). I also love the idea of Raven Kohl Power pencil. I’m just not certain it will suit me. I can’t help but wonder whether my tired eyes can handle a red based eye pencil?
- Watching ‘Gavin & Stacy’. We don’t have television so I always end up watching the popular TV programs much later than everybody else. I borrowed the DVD box set from a friend and I think this show is hilarious. I love the subtle but oh so funny social stereotypes it portrays.
- 3 more sleeps until we go away for Christmas. We’re off to the (s)in-laws for 10 days.
- I’m almost organised. I manged to get my mum’s present today and I’ve only 4 more gifts to wrap.
- China Glaze ‘Ruby Pumps’. How did I ever live without this nail polish. I have it on my toes at the moment and every time I look at it I can’t help but smile.
Going Down…
- The prospect of having to pack for our trip. The amount of stuff we’ll have to take away with us is beyond ridiculous. Plus I’m having trouble planning my outfit for Christmas eve/day.
- Shopping for my boyfriend’s Christmas present. I’ve got him a couple of bits but none of it feels special enough. He was totally unsympathetic when I asked for some help. He said that after 6 years I surely know everything about him and should therefore be able to come up with my own gift ideas. I HAVE to get it sorted tomorrow.
- Why does this time of year have to be so expensive? I’m definitely going to have to get my finances sorted in January, especially as my maternity pay will finish very soon.
- Not being able to blog while I’m away. I’m going to miss my little bit of personal space on the web! But I’ll be back before New Year, no doubt with lots of lovely presents to show you all.
