Going Up…

• Baby Jesse figured out how to clap this morning and it has to be one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I would clap twice and say ‘clap, clap Jesse’ and then he would clap and then he would giggle so much he’d almost topple over. He was so pleased with himself.
• Gossip Girl. I’ve come late to this little addiction but my boyfriend gifted me the season 1 box set for Christmas and I was instantly hooked. I watched the last episode yesterday evening and I’m going to have to get my hands on season 2 asap!
• MAC Girl About Town lippy. I also got this for Christmas. This hot fuchsia shade is stunning and I really like the Amplified Cream formulation too. Magenta lip pencil is perfect with this.
• My graduation in 2 weeks. I’ve waited so long for the opportunity to celebrate what I achieved last year and I’m so excited about having all my family together. I can’t wait to see my daughter cheering for me as I cross the stage.

Going Down…

• The fact I’ve still not managed to post about what I got for Christmas. I got some amazing make-up gifts (my mum took a trip to the Shu Uemura store) but I want to take some pictures in decent light and that has been lacking during the last snow-filled week.
• There are some amazing new Spring make-up collections in store but I’m feeling terribly poor at the moment. As if Christmas wasn’t enough, I have so many birthdays to satisfy in January, not least little Miss LA at the end of the month. She’s turning 5. This is simultaneously wonderful and terrifying.
