As I was unable to watch the Oscars yesterday, I spent most of this afternoon on the Internet pouring over images from the red carpet. I’m still undecided as to which star wore the best dress, but in terms of hair and make-up Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet certainly have my vote. I adore Winslet’s hair especially… I’d give anything to be able to style my own like that. And Cameron’s blonde locks teamed with that gorgeous red lip is stunning. 
I think both actresses worked old Hollywood glamour perfectly. There was definitely more than a little bit of Veronica Lake about them. Simply gorgeous.

oh gosh i’m the same, i would love to be able to style my hair like kate winslet has…i’ve tried many times and failed! she looks gorgeous
@Sophie Maybe we should try and perfect it as I think it would look stunning on brunette hair too. Very elegant.
