January is finally over. It’s got to be the toughest month of the year. We’re all skint, the Christmas comedown has kicked in and by the second week everyone is feeling guilty about the New Year resolution that has already become an epic fail. Now is definitely the time for a bit of positive thinking.

It’s still decidedly cold and grey outside but a few things have found their way into my inbox or popped up on my reading list that have got me feeling all summery and optimistic! Summer never fails to make me smile so without further ado…

Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Collection
I have been drooling over this collection online all day. I adore corals (see proof here) and the promo images have sucked me right in this time. I’m seriously lusting after the Nectar Shimmer Brick, Guava Lipstick and the new pot rouge in Cabo Coral.

The Chanel Spring/Summer Haute Couture catwalk show.I’ve watched this show over and over again and I cannot find fault with it (even though it lacks one vital ingredient, a classic Chanel LBD). I love it! The hair, the clothes, the bows and the candy colours. And the make-up is perfect. The gorgeous lipstick is apparently launching later this year and is called Genial. The models are also sporting the most amazing silver nail polish. It looks as if they have dipped their fingertips into molten silver… so beautiful.
