Wimbledon always makes me feel like summer has officially begun. This year, Christy is celebrating over a quarter of a century as The Championships’ official towel licensee.

This delicious drink, inspired by the quintessentially English tennis tournament and Christy’s fabulous collection, is perfect for keeping cool while you catch up on the latest news from Centre Court.
Fresh and zesty with a slight hint of sherbet, it’s pretty much all I can think about drinking during the current heatwave. With temperatures set to soar this weekend, I suggest you whip up a supply of your own, whether you’re watching the tennis or not!
You will need:
- Approximately 400g strawberries, hulled
- 3 lemons, roughly chopped
- 140g caster sugar
- 500ml water
- Plenty of ice
1. Fill a large jug with ice. Using a blender, whizz up the strawberries until you have a smooth puree. Pour this into your jug and set aside.
2. In the same blender {there’s no need to wash it}, blitz the lemon and sugar with half the water.
3. Using a sieve, strain the lemon mixture over a bowl. Add the juice to your jug and pour in the remaining water. Give the lemonade a good stir, taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
4. Garnish with lemon, strawberry and fresh mint.
