(In my opinion, some of the best promo imagery MAC has produced in a while.)

I’ve made the tough decision not to purchase anything from MAC’s Colour Craft Collection. I have been excited about this release for quite a while and had definitely compiled a modest wishlist but in light of my partners recent redundancy and some other factors I’ve decided to pass. I’m obviously on maternity leave at the moment and therefore not quite as well off as I am normally and while things are a little uncertain for us I feel I need to be a little more careful. On top of this I’ve spent quite a lot on clothes recently (6 months of not buying anything other than boring maternity clothes will do that to a girl) and have also given my sister some money to spend on my behalf in duty free. Added to this is the fact my son seems to be growing at a ridiculous rate (at 4 weeks old he’s almost grown out of 0-3month clothing) and my daughter will need to be kitted out in school uniform very shortly. Obviously they are my priority! I think some of the Colour Craft products look gorgeous but I’m certain my collection will be able to survive without them. For the record, here’s what I was hoping to get:

• Smooth Merge MSF
• Porcelain Pink MSF
• Most Popular lipstick
• #226 brush
• Eccentricity MES

At least everyone else’s haul posts/youtube vids will mean I can enjoy this collection vicariously. I’m going to try and put some money aside for the Love That Look collection as I adore the Starflash eye shadows, they’re so buttery!
