As a reward for providing him with a son and heir my wonderful boyfriend bought me some fantastic gifts. A HUGE slab of Hotel Chocolat choccy (which lasted less than 24 hrs….I’m a breastfeeding mother, I *need* the calories) was accompanied by this beautiful bottle of Vivienne Westwood’s limited edition Boudoir Jouy fragrance! My boyfriend thought that if I had a new perfume the smell would always remind me of when our son was born (this and the message in the card had me in tears… bloody hormones). The fragrance is beautiful, I won’t try and describe it just urge you to go and sniff it, but it’s the sight of the stunning bottle on my mantelpiece that manages to bring a smile to my face every day. Despite feeling decidedly un-boudoirish in tracksuit bottoms and frumpy nighty, I’ve worn my new scent everyday and it’s really cheered me up.
