Yesterday my university released our degree results. I had a bit of trouble finding out my marks as I haven’t completed all my modules yet (I had to defer 2 exams because of when my son’s due date fell) but I eventually spoke to my personal tutor on the telephone. I was so pleased to find out that I got a 1st for my dissertation and that if I manage to do reasonably well in my finals I should gain a 1st overall! I have worked so hard for the last 3 years and had numerous dark moments when I wondered if all the stress and time away from my family was really worth it so these results have made me incredibly happy. I just hope I can get my brain functioning in time for the exams!
I’ll be stopping by the beauty counters this afternoon to purchase a small reward for myself!
