One of my favourite ways to relax is by taking long, luxurious, candlelit baths. For this reason I always like to have a selection of bath treats close by. This morning I wandered up to my local Lush store to restock.
Clockwise from far L: Think Pink, Sakura x2,Waving Not Drowning x3, Tisty Tosty x2, Iccle Baby Devil x4- Think Pink has a beautiful fragrance containing neroli, an oil that is very good for lifting your mood when you’re feeling low. This bomb also turns the bath water bright pink and releases pink confetti hearts as it fizzes. It’s one of my daughters favourites so I doubt I’ll get to indulge in this one!
- Sakura is quite a delicate fragrance containing mimosa absolut. It smells like cherry blossom, very feminine and floral.
- Waving Not Drowning is one of my all time favourite bath products. It’s a very simple blend of lavender and cardamon. This combination has both a relaxing and warming effect which always leaves me feeling very comforted. This is fantastic if you need a little help getting to sleep at night. For me, the ultimate in luxury is to combine one of these with a Dreamtime Bath Melt for an extra hit of lavender and some added creaminess.
- Tisty Tosty has a beautiful rose fragrance that can only be fully appreciated once it hits the water. It also has 7 rosebuds in it that look beautiful floating on the surface of the water. This is lovely combined with a little bit of Amandopondo Bubble Bar.
- Iccle Baby is for my daughter. I can’t recommend these enough. They are gentle on my daughters eczema-prone skin but also allow her to have a little fun at bath time. The lavender scent is perfect for helping her nod off and they’re great for soothing nappy rash too.
I also bought some back-ups of BIG shampoo and my HG Olive Branch Shower Gel that I have blogged about previously. BIG is actually for my boyfriend. He loves this sea-salt based shampoo as he says it gets rid of all the wax from his hair. It is incredibly cleansing… although this makes my hair shine like glass and gives it fantastic body, if I use it too often it strips the colour out completely. I have to admit that I love how this smells on my fella! It has a very sexy, fresh scent! Finally, I picked up a tub of H’Suan Wen Hua hair moisturiser. I have used this before and it does really help combat my dry ends and improve my hair’s overall condition. It does have quite an unusual smell and I recently chose to try Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze as an alternative. However, I found the scent of this far too overpowering, it lingered in my hair for days. I’ve decided to stick with the weird smell that fades quickly instead!
