I am constantly drawn to the beautiful array of quads and quints that the beauty counters offer up to us. Why? Because I’m a sucker for the beautiful packaging they always seem to be encased in and I love experimenting with them and trying to create different looks from the colours they put together.
L-R: No. 14 Mystic Eyes, No. 92 Bleu Celestes, No. 93 Smoky Eyes
L-R: My own quad with Print, Vex, Parfait Amour & All That Glitters, MAC Trip 5 Cool Eyes with (L-R) Taupeless, Behold, Chillblue, Peridot & Black Tied (exclusive to Duty Free last summer), Shadowy Lady Quad with Light Fall, Smudged Violet, Deep Truth & Shadowy Lady (from Cult of Cherry collection)
Colour Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow with (clockwise from top L) Positive, Model, Best Dressed, Lezard, Excursion, Floralesque & (centre) Daylight
5 Colour Iridescent Eyeshadow No.259 Electric Lights
Sirens 4 Colour Powder Eye Shadow Palette with (clockwise from top L) Morn, Luminescence, Fate & Spellbound
This palette was pretty much all that the Illamasqua counter at Selfridges in London had left from the Sirens collection by the time I got the chance to check it out. Luckily, I adore it. The pigmentation of the shadows is fantastic and the shade Spellbound is fast becoming one of my favourite gold shadows. Richie Nickel has a fantastic tutorial for this palette on his youtube channel WhatStyleIsToNickel.

Lovely quads and quints 🙂 Would you be able to do a look with the Illamasqua one? I don’t have it, but the colours are so unusual, I’d love to see how you wear them 🙂 xxx
