I actually managed to figure out the timer function on my camera so I could take some full length pictures. Excuse the headless nature of said images… I was looking slightly dishevelled above the neck, having just completed the school run in the wind and rain!
What I’m wearing:
Long black ribbed vest – Topshop… worn underneath a
Long-sleeved black tee – Topshop.
Black long line cardigan – Zara
Gold rocking horse necklace – Accessorize (I love this! Evidently it makes a fabulous teether too… baby J has been chomping on it all morning!)
Floral full skirt – Warehouse (Summer 2007)
Random black tights
Tan flat boots – River Island
I adore full skirts! I think it’s because there is something a bit vintage, a bit kitsch, about them. I love that they make me feel so incredibly feminine. I like to imagine myself looking like the ladies pictured in Vogue patterns from the 1950s.
I’ve had this one for ages. It’s really versatile and I can wear it all year round. In the summer I wear it with a vest and sandals and then layer the hell out of it come winter! In spring it looks cute with these boots and a fitted denim jacket, worn with the sleeves slightly rolled up. The fabric is beautiful and I love that it can be accessorized in numerous different ways because of the variety of colours in the print.I love clothes that can be dressed up (I actually wore it to a wedding once) or down, exactly like I did today. You definitely get your moneys worth this way!

Love that outfit. Gorgeous boots too. I really feel like I’ve lost my way style-wise at the moment so I love seeing everyone else’s outfits in the hopes it’ll kickstart some sort of enthusiasm in me for looking a bit more ‘put together’!
Thanks! I wear the boots to death… they’re so comfy and just seem to get better with age! I find fashion blogs very inspiring and they constantly give me ideas for putting outfits togther.
