• Baking a lemon and mascarpone cake with my daughter. It was absolutely delicious and very easy. Once the cakes have cooled, spread one with mascarpone and the other with lemon curd before sandwiching them together and sprinkling with golden caster sugar.

  • Cooking a huge tuna pasta bake and an enormous mountain of garlic bread.
  • Drinking Rose wine and laughing a lot.
  • Nursing a poorly baby.
  • Not getting much sleep.
  • Taking a long shower and smothering myself in Lush Turkish Delight.
  • Loving MAC Vex and Parfait Amour e/s.
  • Forgetting to defrost the chicken for Sunday lunch.
  • Watching Jesse crawl. Yes… he’s finally mastered it and is gradually beginning to grasp what this new found freedom can afford him.
  • Taking a lovely long walk down to the river and round the quayside.
  • Eating Thai food.
