- Loving the sunshine.
- Rediscovering clothes. My Spring/Summer wardrobe didn’t get an airing last year as I was obviously wearing maternity clothes (yawn). It’s fun to wear things and have people think they’re new!
- Being lazy with my make-up. MAC Phloof and mascara was as exciting as it got this weekend.
- Wandering along to the Exeter Food and Drink Festival. It was loads of fun, we’ll definitely go again next year.
- Consuming my own body weight in free food and sampling far too much alcohol before lunchtime! I really recommend these fruit wines (especially the Rose Petal Rose and the Elderflower Champagne), these cupcakes (‘Elvis’ was my favourite… banana and peanut butter… nom nom nom) and this Dorset based olive company (I’m munching on their Pistou Olives as I type).
- Eating lunch on the steps of Exeter Castle. Mr. LA had pie and mash, the children sampled some of the Hog Roast and I had a Thai style Lamb burger. Delicious!
- Loving MAC Ever Hip lipstick but wondering if I can make Blooming Lovely work for me.
- Having a quick cup of tea (and another cupcake) before going for a long walk, or scooter ride in Izzy’s case, down to the river.
- Drying washing outside for the first time this year.
- Snuggling on the sofa with Mr. LA while drinking wine and watching the season 1 finale of Carnivale.
- Loathing Sainsburys.
- Cooking and eating Greekish Lamb Pasta from Nigella’s ‘Forever Summer’ book. It’s a Mediterranean take on Spag Bol and it’s yummy!
- Taking the children to the park.
- Madly tidying. What is it about the weekends? The house always looks like a bomb has hit it by the time Sunday evening rolls around.
- Nursing a killer headache.
- Giving myself a manicure with MAC’s Blue India nail polish.
- Wishing I wasn’t working tomorrow.
