- Nursing a killer headache. Not fun.
- Packing a picnic lunch.
- Loving how excited Izzy was about riding at the top of a double decker bus.
- Enjoying the sunshine.
- Channelling the Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 make up look with soft silvery-grey eyes and Genial lippy. LOVE.
- Wishing I had time for a haircut.
- Loving the sunshine on Saturday (but hating the rain on Sunday).
- Laughing at baby Jesse’s while he ate his picnic. He made A LOT of mess!
- Eating prawns, olives, feta cheese, scotch eggs, pesto chicken and all sorts of other yummy picnic treats.
- Wandering through beautiful gardens and trying to name all the wild flowers with my mum.
- Eating cupcakes and drinking tea.
- Watching Facejacker on 4od. So un-p.c but so funny.
- Listening to Tori Amos.
- Finally sending out the invites for Jesse’s 1st Birthday party.
- Planning the menu for a dinner party next weekend. I always start at the end and work my way back so all I know is that we’ll be having a dense, damp white chocolate and almond cake with a mango and lime salad for pudding.
- Sleeping away my Sunday afternoon. Only way I could cope with my migraine was to nap.
- Realising that I’ve run out of nail polish remover and that I’ll have to live with my chipped Topshop manicure for another 24hrs.
- Stopping breastfeeding. At least I think I have 🙁
- Smiling when Jesse learnt how to give a kiss. He puckers up, leans in and just kind of smoodges his face against mine. It’s adorable.
- Relaxing in a beautiful lilac hued bath courtesy of Lush’s bathos bubble bar. Heaven.

oh i wish my daughter knew how to give kisses!! my heart just melts at the thought!
have you tried using eucalyptus essential oil for your headaches? i like to use it when ive had a few drinks & dont want to take any drugs. you can get it at most organic grocery stores (mine was like $5). just dab a tiny bit on each temple and your headache will be gone within half an hour! i was totally skeptical when my hubby told me about it, but ive tried it and it really works (unless its a lack of food related headache… for some reason its a no go for me). good luck!
I hope your head is feeling better now? Facejacker is hilarious!!! Your picnic sounds lovely 🙂 xxx
@RMb She’ll get the hang of it eventually and then you won’t be able to stop her smooching with you!!
I will def try the eucalyptus. These migraines seem to be becoming more and more frequent which is a real pain so I’l try anything!
@Laura It’s eased of a little bit today thanks hun. Still a niggly pain at the back of my head and all down my neck though 🙁
Facejacker is brilliant… me and Mr. LA can’t stop quoting it at the moment! And our picnic was scrummy!!
