- Starting to feel healthy again.
- Loving the fact Jesse has suddenly taken to sleeping past 7am. Anyone with small children will recognise that this constitutes a major lie-in among us parents.
- Wearing make-up for the first time in days.
- Jumping on trampolines, climbing up ladders and hanging from ropes at the local adventure playground. Big kid, moi?
- Eating a veggie burger at Nandos.
- Laughing at Jesse’s love of spicy food. No lemon & herb for him!
- Throwing evils at the table of girls who so blatantly checked out Mr. LA as he walked to the bathroom. The perils of having a DILF for a boyfriend, hey!
- Picking up baking supplies.
- Making popcorn for Izzy.
- Cooking and eating fajitas.
- Snuggling on the sofa with my fella and watching the movie Frost/Nixon. Bloody brilliant.
- Having a lie-in.
- Eating eggy bread.
- Hating the lavender haircare I picked up from Neals Yard. The shampoo smells like blue cheese and my hair feels like straw. Yuk.
- Loving MAC Up The Amp lipstick. So pretty.
- Munching a picnic in the sunshine.
- Trying to decide whether I should try and stop Jesse from eating handfuls of grass.
- Sharing a delicious meal with friends.
- Saying goodnight to Izzy. She’s sleeping over at her best friends house. They’re so excited, it’s adorable!
- Tucking Jesse in and smothering him with kisses.
- Pouring myself a glass of wine and eating leftover cake. Mmmmmmm.

Glad you’re starting to regain that human feeling sweetheart! You’re getting longer lie in’s than I am at the moment, I’ve been waking up between 6 – 6.30, and I’ve not got a Jesse (male or female) yet!!!
People are always giving Colin the eye, hard life for us with hunky men! DILF – I love it!
I picked up some baking supplies too, you’ve really got me inspired to bake!
I just had some yummy Ben & Jerry’s, my wine substitute!

Oh you poor thing. When I had trouble sleeping during pregnancy I used to want to punch people that said ‘ooooh if you think you’re tired now’ or ‘it’s all good practice for when the baby comes’ so I won’t!! If it’s any consolation I was the same during both pregnancys, especially towards the end. Then, the night before I went into labour I had the best nights sleep ever, like my body prepared me for labour. I’ve always thought that was kind of cool.
I’m so glad you’re enjoying baking, it’s the best therapy! You’ve got me craving Ben and Jerry’s now. Mmmmmmmm.
