• Loving not having to get up for the school run.
  • Making blueberry pancakes (you can find the recipe I use here)
  • Wishing we hadn’t opened the letter from my University. Things are not what they seemed with my MA course and I’ve been plunged into complete turmoil over my subject choice.
  • Panicking.
  • Panicking some more.
  • Loving the way Mr. LA tries to make me feel better.
  • Wishing I could believe him when he tells me everything will be alright.
  • Walking down to the Double Locks (which I’ve linked to before, but it really is our favourite watering hole, especially in the sunshine).
  • Enjoying a yummy pub lunch.
  • Beaming every time Jesse utters his newest word. ‘Cuggle mama’. Cutest. Thing. Ever.
  • Wandering into town for a spot of wedding related shopping.
  • Wishing I could remember the pin number for my credit card.
  • Being grumpy and short with my loved ones. Stress will do that to a girl.
  • Tucking the children into bed and pouring myself a very large glass of wine.
  • Loving my Chanel Diabolic pedicure.
  • Watching ‘True Romance’. I love everything about this movie, especially the Hans Zimmer score (so much so that I’m planning to walk down the aisle to this).
  • Taking a long distance phone call from my Mum (who’s currently holidaying in Australia) to ask her advice on the whole Uni/’what the hell am I going to do now’ issue.
  • Waking up with a hangover.
  • Wishing Mr. LA didn’t have to work on a Sunday.
  • Enjoying a spur of the moment M&S picnic on Cathedral Green. The sun was shining, Jesse ate his own body weight in prawns, Izzy regaled me with tales of her Sunday morning drama class and for a few minutes I forgot about everything else.
  • Browsing the children’s books in Waterstones.
  • Craving a new bottle of perfume.
  • Watching ‘Gigi’ with Izzy while Jesse napped in his stroller in the front garden.
  • Killing an hour in the park.
  • Cooking an enormous veggie stir-fry.
  • Laughing at how much Izzy loves butternut squash.
  • Not wanting to tidy the toys in the front room. Seriously, it looks like a bomb has hit it.
  • Hoping for some clarity come Monday morning.
