- Cuddling Mr. LA. Easily the best way to wake up in the morning.
- Missing my Dad.
- Having a bit of a cry.
- Enjoying my baby sister’s company.
- Loving my new hair cut and colour.
- Making eggy bread and fried bacon for breakfast.
- Rating Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. Having recently tried a sample I finally purchased a full size bottle. I’m definitely in foundation heaven with this beauty.
- Wearing my favourite black sweater, skinny jeans and wedges. A no-brainer of an outfit but it makes me feel stylish and well groomed.
- Eating an enormous Italian meal.
- Toasting Dad.
- Having a quick wander through town.
- Loathing the crowds of Christmas shoppers.
- Watching Lady & The Tramp with the children. I think my sister enjoyed it as much as she did when she was 5 years old, she’s still a total Disney-a-holic!
- Cooking Southern Sausage Stew from Jamie Oliver’s America book. The book was a birthday gift from the children but this was the first recipe I’ve tried. It was a huge success, really, really yummy (if a little spicy for the kiddlywinks) so I’m keen to try a few other dishes.
- Eating popcorn and marshmallows while watching ‘American Beauty‘ for the millionth time. LOVE this movie. Kevin Spacey = genius.
- Chatting in bed with the fella and listening to 90s music until we fell asleep.
- Snuggling with the children.
- Drinking lots of tea.
- Realising I’d run out of dry shampoo AFTER I’d had my shower and not washed my hair. Rocked those greasy roots all morning until Superdrug opened.
- Saying goodbye to my sister.
- Trying not to panic about how few Christmas presents I’ve bought so far. I predict much December panic buying.
- Cooking an enormous lunch. Sausages, mash, roast parsnips, peas, sprouts, yorkshires, gravy…. mmmmmmm!
- Going for a very long walk down to the quay. It was such a beautiful winters day today, it filled me with positivity.
- Trying to tire the children out at the park.
- Indulging in shop bought Toblerone cookies.
- Laughing at Jesse’s attempt to copy me and dunk his biscuit in my mug of tea.
- Giving the children an early night.
- Eating cheese on toast.
- Planning to watch one of the required movies for my film seminar tomorrow while eating a Double Decker and painting my nails (because I was too lazy to do it on Friday).

Sound like another lovely weekend 🙂
I just had a look on Etsy at feather headbands, as recommended by Saskia. I know this is probably not dark enough, but it was the only grey one I saw so thought I’d show you anyway 🙂
