- Snuggling with the children.
- Drinking tea.
- Eating fried eggs on buttery toast.
- Loving Lush’s It’s Raining Men Shower Gel. Paired with my exfoliating mitt it gives me the softest, smoothest skin possible. I need to stock up.
- Smelling of Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice. I LOVE this scent.
- Arguing.
- Eating Wagamamas. Yasai katsu curry. Mmmmmm!
- Laughing at how much the children enjoy noodles (or noodle doodles as they call them).
- Cooking a delicious dinner, taking a few mouthfuls and then realising that the roasting tin had started to peel and the whole meal was covered in fine pieces of black metal. It went straight in the bin and we had to make do with a Dominos.
- Drinking Wine.
- Blogging.
- Using Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask 3 days in a row. Drastic times call for drastic measures and all that. Luckily this is gentle enough for repeated use.
- Falling asleep in a bad mood.
- Waking up.
- Making up.
- Loving statement necklaces. Must buy more.
- Shopping for new things for the house for the first time in ages. Posh new vintage inspired kitchen scales, a tefal wok and frying pan and shiny new utensils too!
- Wondering why places like Debenhams home department and Lakelands make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
- Baking a lemon layer cake with Izzy, Jesse and Izzy’s friend from 2 houses away (lovingly referred to as Ella-down-the-road).
- Realising that baking with 3 children, especially when one of them is under 2, can only be described as chaotic.
- Eating cake and drinking more tea.
- Forgetting to cook dinner (I was too busy eating cake) and then remembering and managing to rustle up sausages, mash, veg, Yorkshire puds and gravy.
- Bathing the children, reading a few pages of Pippi Longstocking and then tucking them in for the night.
- Probably eating a little more cake *Another slice? Don’t mind if I do!*

Sounds like a lovely weekend (minus the arguing – I know the feeling, Ed and I have had tiredness induced stupid niggle this week).
Jealous of your ability to eat so much cake! x
@Eating Diamonds It was lovely! At least we made up quickly, we’re both terribly stubborn and can let arguments drag on and on at times. Don’t hate me for the cake thing!!

Pippi Longstocking…I MUST read that to my girls. I loved it so much when I was little. Seems like forever since I got to sit and read your blog, so I’ve got a nice cup of tea and I’m starting here and working backwards. PS – can I pop round for a piece of cake?! 😉 x
@MissisG Hehe, you’ll have to be quick, I’m about to get to work on the last few slices!! The book is wonderful, I love the Lauren Child illustrations. I still have my copy from when I was a child too, it’s a fabulous story.
