- Taking the train to Brighton.
- Hugging my Mum and my baby sister.
- Eating {too much} curry at the most amazing vegetarian Indian restaurant, Planet India. The samosas were the best I’ve ever tasted.
- Waking up full of excitement, with butterflies in my stomach.
- Having a very productive wedding-related meeting with Jo Flemming at her fabulous studio opposite the Pavilion.
- Finally meeting Laura after almost 2 years of Internet-based friendship.
- Wondering if we chose the wrong cafe for lunch when we spied Audrey through the window!
- Feeling as if I’d bumped into an old friend rather than met up with a ‘stranger’ for the first time.
- Browsing the MAC store together, picking out lipstick and foundation.
- Spending too much money!
- Stealing some cuddles with her beautiful baby boy.
- Strolling round the shops in the sunshine, chatting about anything and everything.
- Wishing we lived closer.
- Buying some amazing cupcakes from Angel Food Bakery.
- Eating said cakes in the Pavilion Gardens. They were amazing, if a little messy!
- Wishing our meeting didn’t have to end and vowing to meet up again very soon.
- Buying beautiful gifts for the children.
- Picking out shoes for my sister to wear to the wedding. A beautiful silver, 1930s inspired pair from Hobbs.
- Enjoying a bottle of wine and my sister’s home cooking.
- Wishing the nasty cough I’ve developed this week would bugger off.
- Heading back to Devon.
- Loving the welcome-home cuddles from the children.
- Loving the ones from Mr. LA even more.
