- Being woken up far too early {two days in a row}.
- Enjoying an omelette for breakfast. It’s Mr LA’s speciality of late.
- Loving MAC Face & Body foundation.
- Wearing MAC Lustering lipstick and very little else in the way of make-up.
- Taking the train to the countryside with Izzy. By countryside I mean 20 minutes outside of Exeter.
- Munching on Percy Pig sweeties the whole way there.
- Meeting a friend from work who also happens to be called Izzy. It was a little confusing.
- Loving the way Izzy bubbled with excitement as we went to meet the other Izzy’s horse, Bashir.
- Enjoying good food and conversation.
- Taking the train home and enjoying lots of affection and reunion cuddles from Jesse. It’s so nice to be wanted!
- Madly tidying the house, cooking dinner and getting ready to go out. Yes, I am a multi-tasking expert.
- Tucking the children into bed and crossing our fingers that they would fall asleep quickly. Or at least before the babysitter arrived.
- Curling my hair with my Remington Pearl Wand {which I love and wholeheartedly recommend}.
- Struggling to get the seams straight on my stockings.
- Riding in a taxi to a very Swedish 30th birthday party.
- Drinking too many cocktails.
- Eating BBQ food. The party was in a church hall and the grill was set up in the old graveyard. Spooky but kind of perfect at the same time.
- Loving Nat from Modal Corpus {my real life friend and organiser of aforementioned soiree}.
- Not getting enough sleep.
- Wearing bright coral lipstick and winged black eye-liner in a bid to feel summery but a little bit retro.
- Studying for most of the day in spite of my hangover.
- Making a small but satisfying dent in my essay.
- Drinking lots of tea.
- Wishing I was with the children in the sunshine.
- Catching up with some friends who popped in on their way back from camping in Cornwall.
- Cooking an epic vegetarian lasagna. .
- Needing an early night desperately.
- Dreading the uni-related upheaval of the week ahead. 2000 words by Thursday and half-term to contend with. Can I do it? We’ll see…

I love the fact that the horse is called Bashir… that’s brilliant!
I’ve read a few posts about Lustering… I might just have to check it out.

@Lion Loving Tiger It’s such a beautiful horse too. I wish I had a picture I could post {they all had my friend in} so you could see how excited Izzy was!
I think Lustering was one of the first MAC lippys I ever bought. I love it, it really brightens my whole face and it’s very buildable so you can wear it sheer or opt for full on raspberry pink.
