Slipping into my pretty dress and pink shoes {in the toilets of the Holiday Inn in Cheltenham no less. I am all class.}

Dress: Coast, Shoes: Dune, Bag and gold feather necklace: Accessorize.
I feel the shoes deserve a close-up. I’m wearing Chanel Nouvelle Vague (LE) on my toes. Thanks goes to Grace London for suggesting it, I loved how the turquoise looked next to the hot pink.
Sparkly!

Heading to a little church surrounded by wild flowers and bathed in sunshine…Watching our beautiful friends Greig and Susie get married. The service was lovely, very sweet and moving.

Moving on to the reception which was filled with sunshine, pretty flowers in jam jars, tears {the speeches were very moving}, BBQ food, lots of wine, Eton mess for pudding {yum}, bowling {yes, seriously, bowling}, lots of cake, more wine, a cheeky G&T, dancing, kissing {and I don’t just mean the newlyweds}, plenty of smiles and loads of laughter… Mr. LA and I stumbled into a taxi at the end of the night and somehow managed to make it back to our hotel in one piece.

We thought we might manage a lie-in this morning, what with the children not being there. Alas, our body clocks are so irreversibly reprogrammed by the kiddlywinks that we were both wide awake at 7am. Still, we managed to console ourselves with a cooked breakfast before enduring the {long and rather uncomfortable} coach ride home.

It was such a blissful weekend, a rare treat for me to have my chap all to myself. He even danced with me! Awkward, shuffly dancing, but dancing nonetheless.

Finally, here’s one of my favourite pictures of the newlyweds. I just love love, don’t you? Loveaudrey xxx
