- Missing Mr. LA. Again. He was working away in London from Friday to Saturday evening and both myself and the children missed him terribly.
- Feeling very, very sleepy. Jesse suffered another attack of night terrors on Friday night. I’ll be SO glad when he’s grown out of these, I cannot stand seeing him so scared and upset when there’s absolutely nothing I can do but cuddle him and tell him everything is going to be OK.
- Strolling into town in the sunshine. Is it just me or is September shaping up to be warmer, drier and generally nicer than August?
- Embracing Jesse’s urge to carry a pink, sparkly ‘man bag’.
- Eating an M&S picnic lunch on cathedral green.
- Excitedly opening a beautifully wrapped parcel of evening wedding invitations from Golden Apple Designs. Leah has done a fabulous job and I cannot wait to mail these beauties. She even snuck Audrey into the package for me. Tres chic!
- Spending a lot of time at the park.
- Loving the sight of the children traipsing through crisp, crunchy fallen leaves.
- Chuckling at Jesse’s apparent exhaustion on the walk home! ‘Go fast asleep mummy’ *makes snoring noises*.
- Watching ‘The Land Before Time’ with the children. I do love me an 80s dinosaur themed cartoon.
- Eating too many Percy Pigs.
- Pining for Mr. LA.
- Cooking and eating macaroni cheese.
- Watching old episodes of ER while snuggled under one of the children’s blankets.
- Dashing to the front door as Mr. LA’s key turned in the lock.
- Hugging and kissing.
- Enjoying a lie in.
- Reading trashy magazines and drinking diet coke while I had my hair cut and coloured.
- Wondering if anyone actually likes their hair right after it’s been trimmed. I always long to wash and blow dry it myself, no matter how good the stylist.
- Indulging in a new frock from Reiss. It wasn’t cheap, but I did a little girly maths and, as I’ve already got 3 events in mind to which it can be worn, it was *technically* a bargain.
- Heading to Giraffe for dinner. I ordered sesame noodles but I wished I’d gone for a burger after I saw Mr. LA’s meal arrive.
- Buying the children McFlurrys on the way home.
- Marvelling at the mess created by aforementioned McFlurrys.
- Cleaning the children up and tucking them into bed.
- Settling down to an evening of addressing wedding invitations. Stuffing envelopes and adhering stamps has never been so exciting.

Apart from pining for mr LA, your weekend sounds utterly fabulous, those pictures of the children are, as ever, completely adorable. Jesse’s man bag is brilliant, I love his fashion 🙂 You’ve really made me want a burger by posting that picture of Carl’s dinner too, hehe!
Can’t wait to see this Reiss dress, so exciting 🙂
Get those invites done Mrs to be! xxx
my weekend is never complete without reading this. Tis tradition! 🙂
Your children are utterly adorable!! Jesse has fabulous taste in handbags. 🙂
I keep going past Giraffe in Milton Keynes.. think its time I went in and got a burger!! looks scrummy!!

Aww Jesse with his pink bag – so awesome!!
I love my hairdresser, he is the most awesome thing in the world, but I always want to straighten my hair myself after its been done, so you are definitely not alone! My mum has been going to the same hairdresser for nearly 20 years, and she always washes her hair after going!
Gorgeous post. Most excited about the Reiss bag & that burger & chips – omg it looks LUSH!

look at all the crisp Autumn leaves, cannot believe it’s the end of September. I love your weekend lists and I always used to cry at the land before time, such a movie!

As always seems like you’ve had a lovely weekend, well apart from the missing your man part of course! But I love the fact you did dress maths….almost all of my clothes I do maths on, and then blatantly ignore that I’ve not worn them as much as I said I would!
I now totally want a burger having seen that one, and also fancy gorging myself on Percy Pigs after their mention…..mmmmm…..nom!
I think I’ve said it before but…I love these posts 🙂 Looking back it’s amazing how much we fit in isn’t it? Yet somehow there are still “not enough hours…” 🙂 xx
