- Being woken up before 6am.

- Heading to the library.
- Watching the children pick out a pile of books to take home.
- Sitting cross-legged on the floor and reading aloud.
- Feeling content.
- Reluctantly dragging the children away.
- Braving the supermarket.
- Holding hands with Jesse all the way home.
- Making popcorn.
- Getting cosy under a blanket in front of a movie. We watched Rise of the Guardians and it was brilliant. Highly recommend.

- Cooking and eating kedgeree.
- Bathing the children.
- Huddling up with Jesse and flicking through a picture book together.
- Lying on my bed and listening to Izzy read.
- Giving goodnight kisses.
- Sipping wine and eating chocolate.
- Watching Grosse Pointe Blank.
- Loving the 80s soundtrack.
- Pondering which of my graduating class is most likely to have become a professional killer.
- Wondering what happened to Minnie Driver.
- Climbing into bed.
- Reading Sense and Sensibility until my eyes grew heavy.
- Being denied a lie in. Again.
- Cuddling with Jesse and Mr.LA on the sofa.
- Secretly reading on my Kindle while Jesse’s Studio Ghibli film played quietly in the background.
- Drinking tea and eating toast.
- Sending Izzy off to her Sunday morning drama class.
- Catching up on laundry.
- Daydreaming about new houses and renovation projects.
- Feeling blue.
- Making sandwiches for lunch.
- Walking to the park.
- Not enjoying the cold.
- Watching the children play football with Mr.LA.
- Retreating to the warmth of the house while they carried on playing.

- Hiding out in my bedroom. Sometimes you just need to be alone.
- Preparing pie, roast potatoes and a mountain of green veg.
