I can’t find the words for this weekend.
It started well. We were in the crisp autumn sunshine, there was laughter and leaves crunching underfoot. We bought chocolate on the way home and Jesse told me the colour of each Smartie as he ate them one by one.
Today was not so good, but looking at the smiles in the pictures above has made it a little better.

I hope you are doing all right…as another mom, even across the pond, I can sense a change in your tone of writing and I get the same feelings sometimes.
