- Wrapping up some big projects while Jesse spent a couple of weeks with Carl’s parents in Derby.

- Admiring Monet’s art at the Musée de l’Orangerie.
- Stepping inside the paintings by making a bucket list trip to Giverny.

- Sipping some amazing cocktails at DarkBear Bar in Bridport.
- Relaxing at home for a few days.
- Helping Izzy househunt in London.
- Packing for a weekend of glamping at The Little Retreat in Wales. Carl and I visited for our 10th wedding anniversary in 2022 and spent most of our stay talking about how much the kids would love it, so I’m glad we finally made it back as foursome.
- Enjoying the peace and quiet. It’s such a tranquil spot.
- Soaking in the wood-fired hot tub.
- Visiting Carew Castle.
- Wandering through Tenby in the rain.
- Falling in love with Barafundle Bay.
- Drinking Welsh cider.
- Playing board games as a family.
- Looking forward to some home comforts {I’m the least outdoorsy person around} while also not wanting our holiday to end.
- Taking the children to see Come From Away at Bristol Hippodrome. It was brilliant!
- Working through a long life admin to-do list. I’ve been decluttering as if my life depends on it!
- Shopping for school uniform and struggling to believe how much Jesse has grown over the summer.
- Finalising all the paperwork for Izzy’s rental.
