I can’t believe I’ve come this far without mentioning Miss Monroe. Any film starring Marilyn Monroe is guaranteed to make me smile. If you haven’t seen Some Like it Hot rectify this immediately. If you have then you’ll understand me when I say that I wish I could wiggle like she does whenever I have to walk along a train platform. 
I think this portrait by Cecil Beaton is one of my favourite images of her ever (and as an aside his photographs of Audrey are equally stunning).

I LOVE Some Like it Hot!!!! I used to watch it at my best friends house when we were really young, like 13ish. I love everything about that movie… billions of amazingly funny quotes! My favorite part is when their on the train and have a party at night in “josephine’s” bunk!
I def share your appreciation. I also think Tony Curtis is quite dreamy in this film… even if he is dressed as a woman for most of it! xxx
