We’ve been without Internet for a week and a half. The modem just up and died on us. Terribly inconsiderate I thought.

Blimey did I miss blogging! I have ALOT of reading to catch up on and about a trillion posts floating around in my head.

The suffering caused by serious blogger withdrawal symptoms was compounded by some rather scary happenings involving my little boy. Last Thursday he had quite a serious allergic reaction after he ate some homemade hummus for lunch. His whole face broke out in blotches and his eyes became really swollen. Luckily I got him to the GP who prescribed some baby Piriton. Since then he’s had a few milder reactions to egg (we think… it’s hard to know for sure what’s causing it). Today he had another fairly rapid and scary episode while he wolfed down his evening meal. He just started swelling up before my eyes.

I’m counting the days until our hospital appointment. Hopefully their tests will be able to determine exactly what he is allergic to. In the meantime I’ll just have to carry on holding my breath every time he eats something.

Anyway… I’m back! Yay!
