Kate Moss from the April edition of British VogueI’m not a huge fan of Miss. Moss. I don’t really get what all the fuss is about to be honest… sure she’s pretty but a ‘style icon’, really?
That said, I did fall in love with her recent Vogue spread. Provocatively titled ‘Basic Instinct’, it’s all underwear as outerwear, hip hugging pencil skirts and gorgeous Louboutin heels. Kate’s hair and make-up is all just a little bit undone. She looks as if she was perfectly preened and coiffed right up until she had some fiery intimate encounter with a stranger. Very seductive! This isn’t my favourite image from the selection but I have such a weakness for seams and heels that I just had to post this one.

I agree with you on the whole Kate as a style icon thing…I think she is a terrible role model (given the amount of influence she exerts on ‘us’ via the attention she gets in the media) and I have never really rated her whatsoever…having said that, I also agree that this picture is gorgeous, I love the style…I’ll just pretend it’s someone else being the clothes horse! xxx
I couldn’t agree more Laura! I remember when she was papped smoking during pregnancy. If that had been Katie Price or Kerry Catona it would have been handled very differently by the media, as would the whole drug thing. Apparently it’s cool because she’s a model.
But, I still love this photoshoot!
