I’m loving the vintage inspired dresses and skirts in Hobbs at the moment. They catch my eye every time I pass the window of my local branch. Wouldn’t they look gorgeous on a sunny day with some wedges, oversized sunnies and a brightly coloured chunky necklace or bracelet? Unfortunately the prices are somewhat prohibitive and even the size 8 is too big for my hideously scrawny frame. Oh well.
Hobbs is one of those stores that is clearly aimed at a more *ahem* ‘mature’ clientele but I always spy things I love in their window displays. Weirdly, the NW3 range which is clearly geared towards my age-group does little for me. Am I old before my time or do you also dismiss the idea that only people of a certain age can shop in certain shops? Have you spotted any gems in shops you wouldn’t normally venture in to?

Wow, the “hideously scrawny frame” comment was beyond offensive and ignorant of others who might be slender too. Having a slender frame is not hideous.
It wasn’t my intention to offend anybody. I was referring to MY personal opinion of MY body using my usual tone and sense of humour, which I hope most readers of this blog are familiar with.

The “hideously scrawny frame” comment was in no way offensive, and I think regular readers identify with the humour intended by it and realise that this is something Franky has mentioned before…well, I did anyhow! xxx
