I seem to have developed a little bit of an addiction to Lush’s So White bath ballistic. This year, the Lush Christmas LE range was inspired by Fairy Tales from around the world. This particular bath bomb owes it’s name and beautiful scent to one of my favourite princesses, Snow White.

To look at, this ballistic is fairly uninspiring. It’s just a small white ball… you could easily miss it among all the other bright, sparkly things Lush has to offer. However, it is truly magical when you slip it into your bath.

This is the first ballistic ever to combine the usual fizzing action you would expect from a bath bomb with the foam normally given off by a bubble bar. Apparently this is achieved by grating a little bubble bar into the ballistic mixture. This creates a gorgeous fluffy, snow white foam which floats atop the water. It’s not full on Hollywood-style bubbles… no, it’s somehow more elegant than that. Oh and the scent is divine…. a stunning floral perfume with a hint of apple to it. Delicious. The ballistic also leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft and the delicate scent lingers nicely without being too overpowering.

I’m off to bathe in one right now actually!
