I probably should have tried to post something a little more fireworks related, what with it being the 5th of November, but I need a little Marilyn this evening. Doesn’t she look divine in this photo? Sexy but serene somehow.
My brain is totally frazzled after an entire day spent in a poorly ventilated room on campus tapping away at my laptop trying to get my head around the essay I have to write for my film module. I’m getting there, slowly, but I can’t help but wonder if it’s any good. It’s been a while since I had to write anything academic, what if I’ve lost the knack?
My plans for this evening involve the sofa, a bottle of wine (that I’ve already opened) and a Double Decker. Chocolate and wine = heaven! I fancy a soak in the tub but I may not actually be able to muster the strength to climb the stairs and turn the taps on! I think I’ll stay firmly rooted in front of the sofa, snuggling with Mr. LA!
I hope you have far more glamorous plans for this Friday evening ladies… off to see some fireworks perhaps? How do you stay glam beside the bonfire?

I’ve just made and eaten a goats cheese, pumpkin, and caramalised shallot tarte tatin and eaten some choccies whilst catching up on Desperate housewives and ghost whisperer. Have a lovely weekend x

I’m a little late for Friday, sorry.
I love that picture of Marilyn, we must be on the same wave length, I’m going to a surprise birthday party tonight and the birthday girl’s hubby text me yesterday to tell me it was fancy dress, I immediately decided I was going as Marilyn. Then I got suspicious and double checked with him only to hear him laugh he was only joking (I’d have been the only one in fancy dress) was a little gutted, had it all planned out.
Anyway last night was spent painting my nails, with OPI Vodka and Caviar while drinking Chianti and watching The Event with the hubby.

Guess what…I got to go out…on a Friday!!! Hehe! My sister won some tickets to a fireworks display, and invited me as her +1, so Colin had Jamie for the night whilst I wrapped up warm and had some quality time “ooohing” and “aaahing” at the fireworks! We even had sparklers 🙂 xxx
