It’s hard to imagine anything more elegant than Grace Kelly. Here she is pictured with her Best Actress Oscar in 1954 (well, it is awards season after all). The hair, the gloves… it’s all perfect.
I kind of wish I could get away with a pair of evening gloves in my daily life. You know… just pop to Sainsburys while wearing a gorgeous, glossy black pair pulled perfectly up to my elbows. It would certainly make pushing a heavy shopping trolley around the crowded aisles a lot more bearable.
Just a quiet Friday night for me (no change there then!) I’m really tired this evening but I’m desperate to get on with a little project I’ve set myself. I am determined to put all our photographs into photo albums. I have some pretty pink ones you see and an absolute mountain of pictures to get through. I used to be so good at doing this but I fell of the wagon, well… a few years ago actually. Last night I manged to file away the photos from when our youngest nephew was born. In June 2006.
Oh well. A nice big mug of hot chocolate will ease the pain a little. How about you… anyone up to anything a little more glamorous than me this evening?
