One of my favourite numbers from ‘Funny Face’ and the inspiration for my blog header. I spend a lot of time trying to be lovely, not glamorous or sexy… just lovely! If you’ve never seen this film you must, it’s fabulous.
In fact, I’m planning on watching it tonight. I’m going to slip on my pyjamas and eat various unhealthy and indulgent snacks… I might even pour myself a glass of wine! I am beyond tired after working a double shift today. I can barely talk I’m so exhausted. If I have the energy I might indulge in a little pampering. I haven’t given myself a manicure in over a week. We have visitors tomorrow so I really should make an effort.
I hope you have something a little more glamorous planned for this evening. Care to share ladies? Any tips on how to be lovely?

This evening I tried on my new maternity clothes, got shown how to strip wallpaper (guess what I’m doing tomorrow?!) for the nursery, took pictures of baby bump and now I’m reading your blog 🙂
You certainly don’t need any tips on being lovely, you are full of loveliness!!!
I tried that Lovely Jubblies stuff (got a sample from Lush), I’m sad to report that the smell makes me feel queasy and it made my boobs feel a bit itchy, so I don’t think it’s for me 🙁 I’ll look out for more lovely inducing jubbly creams!

@Laura Yay for baby bump pix! How lucky that you have a nursery to decorate… I had Izzy in my room until she was 16m old and we haven’t moved Jesse out of our bedroom yet either. He’ll have to share with Izzy so we’re a bit nervous just in case it totally disrupts her sleep pattern!
You’re just lovely too hun!
