Isn’t this pin-up sailor girl just gorgeous!
I’ve had a lovely day in the sunshine. My Mum took me out to lunch with some old family friends and then we wandered round the local antique market and rifled through the beautiful clothes at my favourite vintage store. I found the most amazing nautical inspired dress from the 1950s. It had navy blue and white stripes with a full skirt and a fabulous little sailor collar. From the look of it on the hanger I’m almost certain it would be a perfect fit but i didn’t dare try it on, I knew I’d want to snap it up. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since though so I may have to stroll back into town tomorrow for another peak! If it’s still there then it’s obviously meant to be and I’ll simply have to let it come home with me!
Mr. LA and I are about to settle down together for a movie and a glass of wine. He’s just gone on a chocolate run for me… such a wonderful man! Fingers crossed for a good nights sleep tonight, Jesse has been a little unsettled today as he’s cutting 2 more teeth. Poor thing, he needed lots of cuddles.
The rest of the weekend will hopefully be filled with sunshine and relaxing. I think we’re going to watch the football with some friends on Sunday, here’s hoping for an England victory as Mr. LA will be grumpy as hell otherwise!
How about you ladies, what are your glamorous plans for this evening? Will you be watching the game on Sunday or do you have more exciting things planned?

Where do you find all of your pictures like this Franky, I love stuff like that!
Your day sounds perfect, I’m so glad you had a lovely time with your Mummy…and yes, if the dress is there, you simply must buy it, it’s fate 😉
This weekend I’m hitting the shops with one of my closest girlfriends tomorrow, more for a wander around and a catch up than anything, because I have no money at all, but it’ll be lovely to see her…even if I am waddling rather than walking now, due to the pain in my back 🙁
I’ll be watching the match on Sunday, of course! My family are coming over to do a spot of gardening with me, we’ll be having a BBQ and watching the footie, then I’ll be having an early night hopefully!
No plans tonight, just putting my (swollen) feet up, literally!

@Laura Google is my friend! There is a lot of stuff on flikr too. I love them so much, I wish I’d been a 1950s pin-up!
Hmmmm… we’ll see about the dress. It wasn’t cheap so it’ll depend on Mr. LA’s reaction when I try it on.
Shopping sounds fun, hope you’re not too uncomfortable. Take lots of breaks for tea and cake I say. BBQ sounds lovely too, we might do the same. The weather is just so amazing, exactly as it should be for a world cup!
@LissyLou I love funnyface!! Enjoy your evening!

Ohh, if you do cave in and buy the dress (which I totally think you should!) you need to take some photos, it sounds lovely!
I can’t watch the footie tomorrow, am doing my voluntary work at the owl centre. I bet it’ll be dead quiet there too!
🙂 xx
