I’m in love with Ginger Rogers at the moment. Particularly in this picture. I wish I could wear hats without looking ridiculous. If I could, I’d wear one like this in a minute.
OK, so this time next week it’ll be Christmas Eve. A Scary thought made even scarier by the fact that I’m not really feeling remotely Christmassy yet. I blame the lack of Christmas tunes on the ipod at work. I need to hear The Pogues ‘Fairy Tale in New York’ a few more times in order for it all to sink in I think. I’ve done most of the shopping but we still haven’t put a single decoration up and there’s a heap of wrapping to do.
This evening my glamorous plans involve studying, eating a take-away and drinking some wine. I might polish off another mince-pie (or two) before the evening is over as well. How about you ladies, any glam happenings tonight? Have you embraced Christmas yet?

In our house, my husband is the biggest kid when it comes to Christmas. Every year he insists on going and getting two Chrstmas trees on the first weekend of December. Yeah, I just love cleaning up pine needles for a month. So the house is all set up for Christmas, but I can’t take credit for that. For once though I’ve been pretty organised with the shopping and wrapping. Its a miracle!
I’m letting my girls stay up late tonight and we’re going to watch fomething festive together – I’m sans Husband as he’s out on some Christmas jolly or other. Pizza is ordered, but I’ll be sticking to tea instead of wine tonight as I’m fighting a cold and don’t want to be making myself feel any grottier than I do already.
Enjoy your evening and the rest of your weekend. x
@MissisG My Mister is also a big kid when it comes to Christmas but he still seems to need ‘Mummy’ to sort out all the decs!! 2 trees sounds lovely, despite all the fall-out! We must get ours up this weekend, otherwise Izzy will start to get really cross I think!
Enjoy your pizza, I def agree, a little of what you love does you good. Ya know, everything in moderation and all that!

Wow, that picture is fabulous, never seen it before but she looks so beautiful! I’m sure you could pull off a hat like this, no?! Although, I know what you mean, I always think I look a bit ridiculous in a hat!
Hopefully you’ve managed to sort some decorations out this weekend…a study break for decorating is a MUST! I hereby order it if you’ve not yet managed it, hehe! I know Izzy will back me up 😉
Hope you manage to get everything done in time so you can all enjoy the festive period! I wanted our decorations up on the 1st, but Colin wasn’t having any of it, so we did it last weekend! I decorated my Mum’s house and he did ours whilst I went out for ‘Christmas’ at my friends house with the girls 🙂
