Yesterday we celebrated Jesse’s 2nd birthday a couple of days early with a Toy Story party. Three of his friends from nursery came over to eat lots of cake and frolic in the ball pond. Much fun was had by all and we spent most of the evening scraping the children off the ceiling after they got a *leeeedle* bit high on E numbers!
I spent most of last week baking the little man’s Toy Story themed cake. He loved it, his eyes were out on stalks when he spied Buzz and Woody amidst the candles. They didn’t last long in that position once we had finished singing Happy Birthday. Jesse grabbed them from the cake and they haven’t left his side since!
I baked 2 sponge cakes in my 23cm springform tin using a recipe from Nigella’s How To Eat and then transformed them with an obscene amount of icing, food colouring, wire and Disney collectibles.

Wow! I’m so impressed that you made that yourself! Very domesticated. Sounds like Jesse had a good day xx
Gorgeous! Do you take comissions?!
