I’ve had an amazing weekend full of cake, Pimms, friends, family and of course THAT wedding. I loved every minute of the coverage and sat glued to the TV with my mum. We ‘oooed‘ and we ‘ahhhed‘ and we even had a wee cry.
My, didn’t the bride look beautiful! After pouring over all the details (the lace, the flowers, the hair) I’ve come to the conclusion that the Duchess and I seem to have quite similar taste. I would like to point out that I purchased my wedding dress first, mind you 😉
Come 4pm my parent’s garden was perfectly decked out in red, white and blue and filled with lovely people. We didn’t know all the neighbours that well at the beginning of the party but by the end we were firm friends and planning how we’d celebrate the Royal couple’s 1st wedding anniversary!

I loved the Royal Wedding. Kate looked so beautiful, bridal and princessy, perfect choices I thought. Of course, Pippa looked amazing too, but she couldn’t quite steal the show from Kate. I loved it all – the trees in the abbey, the lace detailing and embroidery and pleats on the skirt, the neutral colour scheme went well with the men’s outfits, and the sparkly waist and fluffy shrug on the evening dress was fab too too. I adored it all. The only thing I didn’t like, and this is if I am being picky, is I think her bouquet could have been a bit bigger. Amazing wedding though. Phew, that was a bit long lol xx

The party looks great and your dress is hubba, hubba! DP is on fire this season, I got a lovely little cream number on Thursday that I’m totally in love with!
That’s so sweet that you invited neighbours that you didn’t know very well to begin with! I had a few friends round and like yours, it was all Pimm’s, food and cakes… by the end of the night I could barely speak!

When Kate emerged my phone almost exploded with texts from my mum and bridesmaids- the lace! the long sleeves! the lily of the valley! Will have to issue some sort of disclaimer about clearly being in good company taste-wise (ahem!), but did actually buy the dress PRE April 29th! x

as for HER dress: words cannot express. she was so stunning! i missed the actual event (having to get up & get ready for work), but i watched all 3 hours on youtube the next day!
i’m jealous of the unity & loyalty to your monarchs that your country has. i feel like we americans all have ADD when it comes to our government.
