Despite a nightmare journey (the bus broke down and she had to wait an hour in the heat for another one) my sister finally made it over to visit me yesterday. The first thing we did when she arrived was eat! I was VERY hungry (and needed to satisfy my ice craving) so we went to a lovely Italian for some pasta. It was delicious. My sister was amused by all the people who commented on my bump and then looked at me in horror when I told them I’m due on Saturday! It’s as if they think they might end up having to deliver the baby if they stand next to me for too long!!

We only managed to look in a few shops as I was so hot and under strict instructions from my boyfriend to take it easy! My sister tried on a lovely maxi dress in H&M and I picked up a funky purple spotty dress and leggings for my daughter. We then headed to one of my favourite shops, Accessorize. I could spend a fortune in this shop! Everything always looks so beautiful and I adore jewellery and bags. I did make a few purchases… it doesn’t matter how pregnant and bloated you are, earrings will always fit!
I have had my eye on this bag for ages so I was really pleased to finally pick it up. It’s one of my favourite colours and sparkly too, I can’t stop looking at it. I think it looks really summery and I really like the slouchy shape.I adore wearing quirky stud earrings so I fell in love with the little Russian dolls the minute I saw them. Stars are another obsession of mine (along with bows and hearts) and I’m constantly buying studs in this shape as I always seem to end up loosing them! They had the other pair in three different colours and I wanted them all! However, I restrained myself and bought this pair as I tend to wear a lot of purple and turquoise in the summer.

Unfortunately, my sister left my MAC goodies at home so I’ll have to wait for them to arrive in the post. I was amazed that I didn’t purchase any make-up until my sister reminded me that we hadn’t gone into any shops that sell cosmetics. You can’t be tempted if you don’t look I suppose!
