Where are you from?
I’m originally from London but we moved to Devon just over 3 years ago. I still get homesick, I’m definitely a city girl at heart.

Why did you start blogging?
A combination of reasons. I’ve been reading, and thoroughly enjoying, beauty blogs since about November last year. I’ve been in my final year at uni and pregnant with my second baby so didn’t have the time to contemplate joining in the fun until a few weeks ago when I handed in my final assignment. Since then, blogging has been a way of filling up the massive amount of time I suddenly have available to me! I hope that, eventually, after the birth blogging will provide a bit of escapism and help me remember that I have a personality beyond ‘mummy’.

What’s the main aim of your blog?
It’s an outlet to express a particular side of my personality that most of my friends don’t ‘get’, with people that do. It has also allowed me to take real pleasure in writing again after 3 years of *having* to write academically.

Do you make youtube videos?
No

Why?
I love watching other peoples but the idea of filming myself etc just doesn’t appeal.

Who’s your favourite Youtuber?
XSparkage was the one that first got me hooked but I also love Pixiwoo, lollipop26 and many more!

Have you participated in a make-up swap?
Yes, on handbag.com

Are you more about skin/hair/make-up/nails?
I’ll probably blog about whatever interests me but I’m quite boring when it comes to my hair (same cut, colour and products for years) so it’s unlikely that I’d have anything exciting to say about my barnet!

What’s your favourite brand?
This is such a hard question. I can probably narrow it down to 3 (and they’re liable to change at any time). MAC, Chanel and Lancome. GOSH is also currently going up in my estimation.

What’s your make-up must have?
Probably foundation, or at the very least concealer. I’m not very confident about the sight of my naked skin.

What’s your hair must have?
A decent hair treatment once a week. I neglected this for ages and have only recently remembered how much my hair benefits from a bit of extra TLC.

Current beauty obsession?
Too many to list them here….but lip products generally, NARS and perfecting a REALLY quick polished look that I can manage with two small children!

Are you happy with how you look?
Hmmmm…. ask me a few months after I’ve given birth.

What would you like to see more of in beauty blogs?
I enjoy seeing what other people have been buying (rather than what they’ve been sent by PR companies). I love seeing how people put things together, their clothes, make-up looks etc. It can be a really good source of inspiration. My favourite blogs are the ones that combine an obvious obsession with all things make-up/beauty/style related with a bit of personality.

How big is your beauty collection?
Bigger than some peoples but still small in comparison to others!

Do you own any MAC pro palettes?
No, unless the one quad I put together myself counts.

Have you ever been sent free products?
No

Which company would you love to receive products from?
NARS, MAC, Chanel, Lancome…. I’m not fussy!

Have you ever won a beauty contest?
No, because I’ve never entered one!

What’s you next planned beauty purchase?
I have no idea, probably some pampering treats to cheer me up after the baby is born.
