Alexander McQueen Fall 2009


As much as I believe that fashion should be wearable and accessible, it is collections like this one that really feed my fashion addiction. I love really theatrical collections. McQueen always seems to present something incredibly crazy and OTT. I’ve been staring at the images in magazines and online for ages and I think they’re fantastic, a true example of how the line between fashion and art can become blurred. However, I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing any of it! That said, the umbrella-on-your-head-dress could prove to be VERY practical in the current weather conditions we’re experiencing in the UK.
