… it always makes me smile!
Here are my purchases from the recently released MAC collections, Love That Look and Graphic Garden. I chose two of the starflash eye-shadows, Strike A Pose (top) and One Off (bottom). These shadows are as smooth and pigmented as I had hoped and I can’t wait to use them in a look. I think One Off has the potential to become my new favourite green (Aquavert has held the title for a while).
I also picked up the Graphic Garden palette. The packaging for this is amaaaaazing! It’s kind of holographic so switches between the MAC logo and the monochrome flower design. I really like all the colours although the pinky-purple is very similar to Stars & Rockets but with an awful texture, it seems a bit grainy (I think it’s a Lustre which would explain it).
I chose this palette based on KarlaSugar’s fantastic swatches. Her blog is usually my first stop when I’m trying to decide whether to purchase something online.
In other news, I also picked up a couple of drugstore items this week (apologies, I forgot to take pics). I’ve been meaning to get Revlon’s Cherries in the Snow lippy for ages and I also grabbed a No.7 lip liner in ‘Fire’ after being annoyed by how much my MAC Cult of Cherry lip gloss bled when I wore it yesterday. Today I treated myself to a fantastic ESPA facial which I’ll hopefully have time to blog about tomorrow because I think I’ve discovered yet another product range to become addicted to!!
