I recently picked up these 3 beautiful polishes. I grabbed Vendetta and Diabolic from Chanel’s recently launched Noirs Obscurs Collection. These are both really dark, vampy shades that will be perfect for autumn and winter. So far, I’ve only used Vendetta on my tootsies. It’s an almost black purple… in fact it appears far more purple in the bottle than it does once applied to the nail. It applied beautifully and only needed 2 coats. Here is an excellent swatch borrowed from All Lacquered Up. From the very quick swatch I did of Diabolic I can conclude that it’s a gorgeous dark red. I can’t wait to wear it!

The other polish is my first ever YSL varnish. The bottle is gargantuan! I adore YSL packaging, it’s so shiny and pretty! I’ve been wanting to try a grey polish for ages. I’ve ummed and aaahed over the grey shade from BarryM before but always felt it was little too dark and murky for me. YSL #39 Smokey grey is beautiful though. It’s much more of a blue grey and has that wonderful fine mica glitter. It gives it a lovely sheen once applied to the nail.I think this will make a nice change from the darker hues I tend to wear at this time of year.
