- Buying our Christmas tree and decorating it with our Nightmare Before Christmas themed ornaments. Pumpkin Jack is sitting proudly at the top surrounded by twinkly lights.
- Mentally filing away the image of my daughter’s blissfully happy face when we turned on the fairy lights and she stepped back to admire her handiwork. So precious.
- Watching Bruno and being a little bit disappointed.
- Cooking our usual Saturday morning eggy bread and drizzling far too much maple syrup on mine.
- Taking my daughter to a friend’s birthday party. (If you read these posts regularly you may notice that my daughter goes to A LOT of parties. Yes, she’s 4 years old and she has a better social life than me.)
- Cooking a huge meal for friends. Veggie chili with tortillas and all the trimmings followed by a mountain of chocolate brownies and vanilla ice cream. Yum!
- Finally getting the hang of the MAC greasepaint stick that I bought from Style Black. I’ve been loving black eye-shadow this weekend. Mr. LA liked it which means I must have done something right!
- Accepting that some people are just selfish and there’s nothing you can do about it.
- Playing with my daughter and her Barbie dolls.
- Doing washing and wishing I wasn’t.
- Drinking cups of tea and eating mince pies.
- Venturing to the shops in an attempt to get some Christmas shopping done and deciding that I really don’t want to have to do that again for the foreseeable future. Far too busy.
- Watching a scary movie while snuggling with my boyfriend on the sofa.
